Too hot in summer, or stuffy air all year round?
We install single-split and multi-split air conditioners and mechanical ventilation systems, choosing the output and the position of the units to suit the actual rooms. Refrigerant lines and condensate drains are routed carefully and kept out of sight wherever possible.

What an air conditioning installation includes
Multi-split for several rooms
A single outdoor unit serving two, three or four indoor units: fewer boxes on the façade and one condensate drain point.
Replacing old air conditioners
Removal and disposal of the existing unit, checking the refrigerant lines and installing the new one, often reusing the existing routes.
First-fix during renovation
If you are renovating, the pipework, drains and power supplies go in before the finishes: they cost less and stay out of sight.
MVHR — mechanical ventilation with heat recovery
In well-insulated houses the air needs changing without opening the windows: heat recovery units, single-room or centralised, to reduce humidity and condensation on the walls.
Commissioning and documentation
Commissioning the refrigerant circuit, checking operation in both cooling and heat pump mode, handover of the documentation and instructions on using the remote control.
Before the quotation
What we look at before choosing the units
An oversized air conditioner uses more electricity and makes more noise. These are the points that decide the output, the number of units and the pipe runs.
- The actual floor area and ceiling height of the rooms to be cooled, not the figures in a catalogue.
- The aspect and the glazing: a south-facing room with large windows needs a different unit from a north-facing one.
- Where the outdoor unit can go: space, noise towards the neighbours and access for servicing.
- The route of the refrigerant lines and gravity condensate drainage, where a pump can be avoided.
- Whether the electrical installation can take the new load or a dedicated circuit is needed.
- Whether the building's rules or local planning restrict units on the façade.
- Whether it is worth using the air conditioner for heating in the milder months as well.
Frequently asked questions about air conditioning and ventilation
How long does installing an air conditioner take?
In a standard installation a single-split unit takes around half a day; multi-split systems or more complex pipe runs take longer, depending on the distance between the indoor and outdoor units.
Is drilling or building work needed?
At least one through-hole per room is needed. If the run is long we consider external trunking or a route above a suspended ceiling: we decide together during the site visit, before quoting.
Can an air conditioner heat the house in winter?
In the milder months and in well-insulated houses it can, and it is often the cheapest way to heat. As the main system it only makes sense after a proper assessment: at that point we are talking about a heat pump.
What is the difference between MVHR and air conditioning?
Air conditioning changes the temperature of the air already in the house. Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery replaces that air, recovering the heat from what leaves: it deals with humidity, condensation and stale air, not with the heat.
Who services the system after installation?
For servicing and periodic checks we rely on the official service centres of the brands we install.
Will you install a unit I have bought myself?
We prefer to supply the unit ourselves: that way one company stands behind both the installation and the warranty. If you have already bought one, let's discuss it on the phone.
