Mains, manifolds and circuits that can be isolated area by area, so a shutdown on one line does not stop the whole plant.

We work in sections and in agreement with production: the installation works around the business, not the other way round.

What we assess before proposing a solution
In industrial buildings running costs matter more than installation costs. These are the figures we work from.
- The actual volumes and the clear height, which completely change the type of system.
- The insulation of the roof and walls and whether doors stay open during the shift.
- The working hours and shifts: a building used for eight hours calls for a different approach from one running day and night.
- The internal loads: machinery, ovens, lighting and the number of people in each area.
- The electrical capacity available and whether there is a photovoltaic system.
- The process constraints: the temperatures and humidity required by the work or by the materials stored.
- The zones to keep separate, so that areas which do not need conditioning are not conditioned.
Frequently asked questions about industrial HVAC
Can the work be done without stopping production?
In most cases yes, working in sections and agreeing the noisy or disruptive stages. Any interruptions that are needed are planned with you before we start.
Is a heat pump worthwhile in a warehouse?
It depends on insulation, height and operating hours. Where solar PV is already installed and the building is used mainly during the day, the potential savings can be significant; where the doors stay open we look at other options.
Do you handle the design as well?
We work to your engineer's design. Where there is no design yet, we define the mechanical solution and submit it to the designer, who remains the person who signs it off.
Can you work on existing systems?
Yes: very often the most cost-effective work is putting the distribution and the controls of an existing system back in order rather than replacing it.
Who looks after the maintenance?
For servicing the units we rely on the manufacturers' authorised centres; for the system itself we remain your point of contact.
