Is your boiler broken or at the end of its life?
We replace old or faulty boilers with condensing boilers sized for the property, sorting out the flue, the pipework and the controls where needed. One point of contact from the site visit to the handover of the paperwork.

What a job done properly includes
Condensing boilers
Modulating boilers paired with controls that run at low temperature: it is the combination that cuts consumption, not the boiler on its own.
Flue and chimney
Checking and upgrading the flue and the condensate drain. This is the item that most often changes a quotation: we look at it during the site visit, not once work has started.
Controls and thermostats
Programmable thermostats, outdoor sensor and thermostatic valves: a new boiler only performs if the controls are set up to work with it.
Domestic hot water
Instantaneous, cylinder-based or provided by a separate water heater, chosen on the household's real usage and the number of bathrooms.
Documentation
Declaration of conformity (dichiarazione di conformità), system logbook (libretto di impianto) and boiler documentation handed over at the end of the job.
Before the quotation
What we look at before quoting
These are the points that decide the real cost of the job. We prefer to raise them beforehand, even when the answer is that repairing makes more sense than replacing.
- Whether to repair or replace: on a recent boiler with spare parts available, repair remains the right route.
- The condition of the chimney and whether the condensate can be drained.
- The output actually needed: the boilers we replace are often oversized.
- The type of emitters (radiators, fan coils, underfloor panels) and the flow temperature.
- How the hot water is produced and how many bathrooms it serves.
- The existing controls and where the thermostat is.
- The water hardness and whether there is a filter or softener, which determines the life of the heat exchanger.
Frequently asked questions about boiler replacement
Is it better to repair or replace the boiler?
If the boiler is many years old, spare parts are hard to find or breakdowns keep recurring, replacement is often the more economical option. With a recent boiler we try repairing it first, and we say so openly.
How long does the work take?
In most cases a working day. If the flue or the pipework needs upgrading, we put it in the quotation before starting.
Does the flue need work?
It depends on the condition and type of the existing flue: a condensing boiler needs a compatible flue and a way to drain the condensate. We check this during the site visit.
Who looks after servicing once it is installed?
For servicing and periodic checks we rely on the official service centres of the brands we install.
Do you provide the paperwork?
Yes: declaration of conformity (dichiarazione di conformità), system logbook (libretto di impianto) and the documentation for the boiler installed.
Is the site visit free?
Yes, for installations and renovation work the site visit is free: it is what allows us to quote for your property rather than from a distance.
