Water storage and pressurisation
Tanks, pressurisation sets and their supplies, with the pipework connections and the flow and pressure tests.
Work on existing networks
Extensions, relocations and compliance work on networks already in place, when the layout of the plant changes.
Testing and documentation
Pressure tests, flow and pressure checks at the least favourable points and handover of the documentation to the engineer for the approval file.

How we work on a fire protection system
Fire protection is regulated work: our part is the mechanical installation, always coordinated with whoever signs off the design and the approval.
- We start from the approved design: if there isn't one, the first step is the engineer, not the pipework.
- We check the water supply available and whether storage with a pressurisation set is needed.
- We plan the routes of the mains together with the layout, so as not to obstruct overhead cranes, racking or escape routes.
- We agree the stages with production, because the network runs through areas that are in use.
- We carry out pressure tests and checks at the hydraulically least favourable points.
- We hand over the documentation of what has been built to the engineer who closes the approval file.
- We stay available for extensions and changes when the layout changes.

Do you handle the design and the approval process?
The design and the approval process belong to a qualified engineer. We carry out the mechanical installation and supply the documentation for what we have built: if you do not have a designer, we can point you to one.
Do you install sprinkler systems as well?
Our work centres on hydrant networks, hose reels and pressurisation sets. For sprinkler systems we assess each case against the design.
Can the work be done while the plant is operating?
Yes, working zone by zone and agreeing in advance the stages that interfere with production or with circulation routes.
Do you carry out the periodic inspections?
Periodic inspections are handled by firms specialising in fire safety maintenance. We work on the installation itself when the network needs modifying or repairing.
Do you work in apartment buildings too?
Yes, on hydrant networks in car parks and common areas, in agreement with the building manager and the appointed engineer.
